A winter migrant to India, they almost always sit on an electric wire only to annoy photographers looking to photograph in a natural habitat. You would be lucky to get them to be sitting on a branch or a tree. I’m glad to have gotten these pics so close (90mins drive) to my home instead of in Europe.
