Accidentally spotted this fellow in the garden of my apartment. It’s a rare owl, called the Indian Scops owl. I was extremely lucky as it started to pour heavily, right when the owl decided to continue it’s sleep and I walked away.

Amazing luck! Nicely done and well spotted. It looks fairly large. How big is it?
Tbis is a medium sized bird and is probably about 20cm or so.
