Prinias prefer open habitats with sufficient cover, such as long grass or scrub. They build their nests low to the ground, often using leaves from the surrounding vegetation. The nesting process typically occurs soon after the monsoon season, with females laying 3-5 eggs that hatch within approximately twelve days.
